In an effort to adapt with evolving commerce technology and to overcome challenges in scaling their drop ship program, Walgreens has partnered with Logicbroker for the implementation of an agile drop ship solution, aimed to increase efficiency and save costs.

Faced with the challenge of expanding its product range without the associated logistical burden, Walgreens sought a solution that would allow for greater agility and flexibility. Its outdated platform was found to be not agile enough as consumers rely more on online shopping. Walgreens struggled in onboarding vendor contracts which take up too much time and cost, causing delays or even preventing the launch of new vendors.
